Winning the Primary and Moving Forward

On June 2, we won the Republican Primary election with a comfortable 20 point margin. Here is the message I shared on Facebook:

We won this thing.  I am beyond honored and so grateful that my community has put its faith in me. I will work unreasonably hard, and I will not let you down. Whether you voted, put a sign in your yard, donated, or shared a Facebook post - thank you so much. This win shows the value of having a family with deep roots. Getting into politics doesn't just affect my life - it impacts those close to me as well. I am so blessed to have the friends and family I do, who never waver in their support.

We still have to win the General Election in November. I will get back into politics mode this fall. For now, I plan to get off of Facebook and go enjoy a Montana summer.

I have certainly been checked out of Facebook and enjoying my summer. I have fished and golfed my heart out and spent every other free hour working on my kitchen remodel. Now, two months later, it is time to get geared up for the General Election in November.

Thank you for riding with me this far. I ask for your support once again in November so I can get to work in Helena. I have already begun drafting policy and meeting with other Representatives to discuss lowering income taxes and reducing red tape. On we go!
